If you haven't visited Champery for a while then you will be pleasantly surprised by the changes. A couple of years ago John Mitchell and Kina Ojdahl opened Mitchell's Pub and Restaurant. A great place for a beer or two after skiing and just a couple of minutes walk from the lift station. Mitchell's is also one of the best places to eat in town..try the marinated reindeer carpacci with a red wine caramel, lingon berries & parmesan for something completely different.
On the high street there have been many changes to the historical Café du Centre . The new owner has completely renovated and rejuvenated the building and a great Asian menu is on offer. The Cafe du Centre also boasts it's own micro brewery so ensure you sample at least a couple of the killer brews before leaving town.
Late at night - there is only one place to be seen - and that is the La Crevasse nightclub. Fall into this late night joint and after a few hours of sampling cocktails and dancing to the infectious rhythms from the crevasses in-house DJ you'll be refusing any need for rescue (though you may need to be).
