The Winter Adventure Company was established in 1996 by John McFetridge and Finlay Kerr. Today, we both continue to be directors and are very much involved with the day to day running of the business.
When we first set up Winter Adventure in 1996 we operated one catered chalet in the small resort of Champagny-en-Vanoise for the beginning of the season and then moved to Val Thorens for March to take advantage of the resorts height. From there we moved to La Tania in addition to operating in Val Thorens and ran a larger operation with four catered chalets. We now operate in Chamonix, Val Thorens and Courchevel.
Although our programme has changed over the years our philosophy has not. We provide holidays and catering services of the very highest standard. John as a professional caterer looks after the freelance chef division in Chamonix, Courchevel, Meribel and Verbier while Finlay oversees our chalet holidays. Rest assured that if you book a holiday or catering package you will get to meet one of us. We have never tried to grow so large that we do not know every single one of our clients, many of whom, have now become very good friends.
